Starting a guild, perhaps...?
Apr. 8th, 2023 02:48 pmOn the Darkhaven realm in Guild Wars 2, we had a "learning WvW guild" for a while that was intended for helping new players to the game learn the ins and outs of World vs World gameplay. Well, they moved to another realm a couple of months ago, so... I'm considering starting a replacement of sorts.
I have the name registered so far. That's about it! Going to need to have the guild hall unlocked, which requires some help, then... the daunting task of building a team for the guild, of course.
Darkhaven War Machine [DH]
What I intend to do with this guild is to theme it as a learning/farm guild for Darkhaven's WvW community. While I'm admittedly not the most knowledgeable or strongest player when it comes to WvW, I would look for those that are talented in the game mode in hopes that they can help coach new and veteran players alike for further strengthening the WvW community on our realm.
It's a daunting task, perhaps... but it could end up being quite fun and likely pay off well in the end, onbce it becomes more established. There is a lot to learn in playing WvW (and GW2), and having some structured help is always useful, both to the individuals trying to figure it out and to the realm's community needing to grow and strengthen.
I'll be starting the recruiting process shortly so that we can get things rolling...
